While St. X gets a lot of buzz for being the top team in Kentucky for the preseason, they actually lost a lot last year. Bell has been waiting for his turn and will have opportunities to be an impact player for the Tigers. While he has a smaller frame, Ethan has good size as a wing/stretch 4 and should be one of the biggest stock risers over the next year.

Bell is another piece to the loaded 2026 class at Saint Xavier and like his teammates, Ethan is more likely to have long term impact for the Tigers than to be heard from much at the varsity level this season. Bell’s frame looks like he’s still growing and I won’t be surprised if he reaches 6’6 or taller in the future. With that potential, he could be a highly ranked kid down the line.

Bell had a good start to the day and remained consistent all morning and afternoon on Saturday. Ethan has good length and showed a well rounded skill level with his ability to make timely passes and knock down shots. His frame is long and lean and looks like he isn’t done growing yet. Look for him to be a name to know in the 7th region down the line.
