Palomino is a forward we’ve seen and like what he’s shown. There seems to be a real long term potential with the way he impacts the game on both ends. He has a strong frame and uses it well to establish himself around the basket, while also showing the ability to stretch his game and operate away from the paint. Defensively he is active and mobile, showing the ability to guard multiple spots and stay engaged in different matchups. He also provides effort on the glass, coming down with rebounds in traffic and hustles to loose balls. Offensively he has touch around the rim and growing confidence in his mid range game. As he continues to develop, Palomino is a name we’ll be keeping tabs on and one firmly to watch moving forward

Palomino is a high-upside forward with size and versatility, and is a player who truly affected the game in each outing that we saw him for Tru Colorado North. He controlled the paint, stepped out on the perimeter, and moved his feet and defended multiple positions, which is rare at this level. He also got some big rebounds outside his area and finishes with touch around the basket, and that extended to the mid-range area where he looked comfortable as well. Palomino’s blend of size, mobility, and feel gives him long-term impact potential, and he’s going to be a very solid prospect when it all comes together. I am high on him and want to see his rise.
