Elijah Elijah 5'0" | PG Belleview | 2031 CO was one of 3A’s top scorers and under the radar standouts a season ago as he led Olathe to an 18-6 overall record. Gordon put up 19.3 points a game. The scoring consistency and impacting the game on both ends of the floor gave his team a chance every single night, and he had a stretch to finish off the year where he averaged 24 points a game to make a deep playoff push. Everyone knew whose hands the ball would be in for Olathe, and he still delivered. The combo guard also put up 3.9 steals a game, and recorded 3.5 rebounds a game to go along with it. He shot the 3-ball, attacked the paint, and finished amongst bigs and had a consistent mid-range game as well. Heading into his junior year, I am expecting him to have an even bigger year and be more of a name that others know. He’s a solid 2028.

Gordon is a dynamic scorer who forced their way onto the rankings after being on the watch list, and a big reason for that push was his production for the past two seasons. Gordon is a confident shot maker with three-level scoring ability, and he applies pressure with quick bursts and instincts on both ends. We didn’t see much of him, but his stats are undeniable. This season, he dominated. He was named to the 3A 2nd team all-state team after putting up 19.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.9 steals a game, which was really impressive. We want to see more of him moving forward and for him to get out and prove that he belongs. He jumps from the watch list to higher on the rankings with his play.

Elijah Gordon Elijah Gordon 5'10" | CG Olathe | 2028 State CO has annihilated his opponents across his last three contests, averaging a whopping 25.3 PPG across his absolute heater of a stretch. At 5’10, Gordon stays low to the ground while making it difficult for defenders to steal the ball from him. Not only does he have a deadeye for range, but his rebounding and defense are something he takes immense pride in. Having come up with 5 steals and 7 rebounds in his most recent game, Gordon has showcased his focus and attention to detail in a way not many guards in this state are. With this high-scoring volume and never letting off the gas, don’t be surprised when Gordon skyrockets into the rankings.

Gordon had a January surge that is doing more than filling the stat sheet, it’s reshaping how teams view his overall impact. Averaging 18.2 points during an 8–1 stretch, he proved he can be a reliable go to scorer while still driving winning basketball. The three 24 point performances show his offensive ceiling, but the 12 steal game might say even more about his growth. He’s impacting games on both ends now, scoring efficiently at the rim, knocking down quick jumpers, creating for teammates and setting the tone defensively. That two way consistency is what’s pushing his stock upward

Gordon has been one of the more productive small school guards within the 3A level and particularly those within the 2028 class. An assertive downhill scoring guard, Gordon is set to take on the reigns for that Olathe program in the coming seasons.
