-Offensively, the sophomore isn’t there yet as he is still getting his legs back after returning from injury a few weeks ago. But defensively I love his impact as a roving shot-blocker that takes pride in protecting the rim both as an on and off-ball defender. He’s developing a better feel for when to sink to the short corner area and when to time his cuts to the rim to receive dropoff passes for easy finishes around the rim. But I would bet on him developing into a 3+D 4-man over time that should make a heavy impact beyond the box score as his unselfish play is conducive to winning.

-One of the best kept secrets in the DMV, I’ve really enjoyed watching Farmer’s skill development over the past year as he is turning into a much more consistent finisher in the paint. The area that Farmer really provides value in right now is at the defensive end of the floor. Farmer has great footwork, can block shots both on or off the ball, and stays down for shot fakes. Really interested in seeing how he is used in the rotation for a Spalding team that should be among the favorites to win the BCL and MIAA this season.

. The 6-foot-7 forward brings a long wingspan that makes him an impact around the basket on both ends. This was an environment where he could showcase his dependable hands in the dunker’s spot and improved explosion off two feet to rise up and throw down dunks with power. Farmer plays within himself and didn’t try to venture far from his strengths, which ended up benefiting him and locking in a spot in the top-30 Cream of the Crop game. Farmer stood out with his two-handed flushes, aggressive rebounding, and ability to alter shots around the rim with his length.
