Hawkins was among those consistent players through his 4 years at the high school level making a slight upward trajectory year after year. His handle and strength on the ball grew and even though most of the time he did not have the ball in his hands a lot he was able to develop that skill because senior season he really took off with his on the ball play. Hawkins is a do it all guard that has 3 level playing ability and he will likely be used the same way he was used in high school at the NJCAA D1 level.
