Should gain a lot of recruiting traction this summer and through season playing for a well coached and talented team. A lanky and plus wing span forward that is fit right for this age of basketball that we’re in. Because he’s a true 6’7 his upside is going to be built around a little more strength while being able to stretch the floor as a 3 or 4 man. One of the more intriguing prospects I saw this weekend because of his mobility and wingspan. Plays above the rim and had multiple scores as a rim runner. Displays body control and hang time around the basket with handle ability as well. Disrupted plays defensively and will be slated for a standout senior year.

Sharpe has good size at 6-7/6-8, the type of size that is rare within Iowa high school basketball. He’s a mobile big man who can run the floor and finish effectively around the rim with either hand. After a solid junior campaign in which he averaged 5.1 points and 2.4 rebounds a game, expect him to become a bigger part of the Bulldogs attack on both ends of the floor in his senior season.
