Aagesen is big and very strong, but he’s nothing short of a hooper! This film clip really shows off a 2 dribble power drive to the right. Aaegesen catches with strong hands at the free throw line and can straight line bully his opponent to the rim. And those handles seem pretty strong for a power player too.

Well rounded post players aren’t a dime a dozen and Aagesen definitely fits that bill. He can bang in the post and be a back end defensive stopper at the rim. Then on the other end, he can step out from beyond the arc and bury a triple try. Aagesen plays the game with a passion that next level coaches will love.

A post player that let’s his D guide his game? Yes please. I’ll be thankful for that all day, every day. Aagesen brings an energy and excitement to the floor. You can tell that he loves the game and loves to compete. He has a frame and skill set combo that you don’t find incredibly often.

Aagesen showed out at the Sophomore ID Camp and earned his way onto the list of players. It was his defense that led the way to this ranking. Aagesen communicates on the backend defensively and he rotates smoothly into help defense. Aaegesen has a ton of upside as a post player.

Aagesen was one of the top post defenders in the gym in Grand Rapids. I really like his awareness and horizontal movement when it came to his help defense down low. Aagesen also directed traffic from down low, always letting his guards know what was going on around them.

throughout the showcase on Saturday. The big man from Goodrich was doing it all from hitting 3s to eating the glass to hyping up his teammates. His natural guard skills paired with his size and frame make Drew an extremely interesting 2027 prospect who should make a huge jump in the upcoming rankings shuffle.
