Dorian Virgil has elite traits between his wingspan and vertical. The Rancho 2029 guard proved why he was such a difference maker in the paint this season, getting up and hitting 11’7 on his max touch, good for about a 40-inch vertical. His numbers are elite and give him a huge advantage when it comes to high-pointing rebounds or swatting shots.

Dorian Virgil shocked me with his measurables. He stands at 6’0″ but has an 80-inch wingspan. A whopping 8-inch difference, which was the largest of any prospect at the combine. Not to mention, he’s still just a freshman and likely still growing. He also utilized that insane reach to play quality defense against upperclassmen who had some height on him. Considering his scrappy play around the rim and next level athleticism, he’s sure to become even better as he continues to expand his game.

Dorian Virgil is an aggressive offensive player who often uses his athleticism to his advantage. His quick-twitch ability allows him to elude defenders, and he’s the type of player who seeks out and finishes through contact. Over the course of the game, he drained 11 free throws and stayed active on the glass. Look for him in the next 2029 rankings update. As he has legitimate skill and the potential to become even more dangerous as he develops.
