Mature sophomore who was arguably the MVP of the team. Played with good pace, comfort, and poise while consistently looking like one of the more composed players on the floor. Crafty and skilled finisher who can score both inside and from the perimeter, while also creating opportunities for others with the ball in his hands. His frame is projectable, and his combination of scoring ability and playmaking gives him plenty to build on. Defensively, stayed active and applied pressure. Can see Rogers making big strides throughout his high school career.

Showed a strong blend of defensive activity and shooting ability right from the get-go. Plays with good energy on the defensive end and has a nose for making plays around the ball, while also contributing on the glass. Offensively, showed versatility as a shooter with the ability to knock down catch-and-shoot looks, pull-ups, and shots from deep. Also showed some feel as a passer, making the extra play when the defense shifted. Rogers’ combination of defensive instincts and perimeter shooting gives him a well-rounded skillset we’re eager to see develop.

Looking at a legit three and D wing here in Rodgers.  The Fenwick sophomore is a quality athlete who is a plus spot up three point shooter who pours them in while being able to impact defensively checking multiple spots.

Rogers popped in his team’s game on Saturday with his ability to knock down multiple catch and shoot threes which included a pair in transition off the break phase. He demonstrates a confidence that comes along with a quick and repeatable release beyond the arc at an efficient rate. Moves well without the ball at times to get to openings of gaps and then converted at the rim as well. Poised on the catch to see the floor with eyes up. Brings value as an effective spacing threat and will be one to keep tabs on at the wing spot for the Friars.
