Jones has been a top performer and playmaker in this North Carolina 2028 class after a great HS season at Ardrey Kell and is now finding himself gaining momentum and confidence quickly with Elite 1 as he’s playing up an age division. Jones can really heat up and make shots while also possessing the ability to break anybody down off the bounce with his live dribble. When you combine Jones ability to shift defenders with his deep range off the bounce, it makes him a nearly unguardable player when the jumper is falling. Jones is a really fun guard to watch and a guy to monitor closely as his recruiting will surely pick up in the next 12-18 months.

Jones has done an incredible job playing up an age group with Elite 1 17u and this past weekend in Rock Hill was no different. Jones is incredibly difficult to contain with his combination of shiftiness, pace, and touch from multiple levels. He can initiate your offense and take the game over by calling his own number and scoring in both isolation situations or within the flow of the offense. With a super quick first step and the ability to make shots, Jones is remarkably difficult to contain off the bounce, making him a constant threat to score when the basketball is in his hands. Jones can get offense for his teammates as well, using the gravity from his paint touches to lure help in and kick out to the open man. Jones will be a fun kid to watch and he’ll continue to establish himself amongst this stacked 2028 class in NC.
