About Braden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A three-level scorer with NBA-range perimeter shooting, an explosive first step for finishing through contact, and a reliable mid-range pull-up. Switchable 1-4 defender who applies constant pressure, disrupts passing lanes, and creates transition opportunities. Elite off-ball IQ — smart cutter, pushes pace, and makes winning plays on both ends.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Fearless competitor who thrives in big moments. I play with passion, toughness, and an edge that raises the standard for my team. I'm a vocal leader, a relentless worker, and someone who holds himself accountable on and off the court. Rooted in four core values: passion, integrity, humility, and persistence.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor Roll student and member of the Student Athlete Leadership Program at Ardrey Kell High School. Participated in Concert Band, playing trumpet, trombone, and drums. Tutors students at Knightview Elementary and mentors younger athletes in skill development. Volunteers with New Zion Church’s production media team and contributes to Bright Captures as a video editor for recruitment footage.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leading by example on and off the court has shaped who I am. Through Student Athlete Leadership, tutoring at Knightview Elementary, and mentoring younger athletes, I've developed strong communication, accountability, and a servant-leader mindset. Basketball has taught me teamwork, resilience, and how to elevate everyone around me — especially in high-pressure moments.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced significant personal loss — including the passing of a childhood teammate to brain cancer, my grandfather, and my uncle, who attended my games and supported my basketball journey every step of the way. I delivered remarks at his funeral. Through every challenge, I've stayed focused, maintained honor roll status, and used adversity as fuel to play with heart and purpose every time I step

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm open to any location — what matters most to me is finding the right fit. I'm looking for a program where I can grow and develop as a player, a student, and a person of character. I value loyalty deeply and want to find a home where I can commit, contribute, and finish what I start. I'm not looking for a stepping stone — I'm looking for a family.
