There aren’t many, if any, better perimeter defenders than Pettis in Ohio. One of the peskiest on ball defenders, Pettis has a knack for giving opposing ball handlers absolute fits at the point of attack. Pettis is also a capable shooter spotting up from 3-point range and is an ideal 3-and-D guard at the Division III level. Jamir Billings played a similar role at Lorain and found instant success at Wooster, while Pettis is a little more limited offensively, the style of play and impact is similar.
