Evans is DTM guard who plays with great speed and loves to attack the rim. Showing he’s capable of finishing near there in a variety of ways. He had the ability to score off a floater, a hop-step, and with both hands. Went for 20 points in the Saturday game that I covered closely.

A confident slasher, Evans got busy on Sunday morning with some tough takes to the basket. Attacking baseline was his preferred area to attack at, catching the ball on the right wing and going baseline with his right hand to score at the rim. One time Evans made that move and got cut off before spinning back to the middle to finish at the rim. When you have the quickness and ball handling ability of Evans, you can get to the paint at will and I liked that Evans didn’t settle for jumpers and instead attacked the paint.

An athletic wing that showcased a lot of natural abilities and utilized them well. Was active on the glass off misses on both ends and had a couple offensive put backs to get his team going with energy. Is able to grab rebounds off a high point with his length and timing. Liked his defensive activity also. Created turnovers which converted to good offense. Can take it to the rim off the dribble and finish with a good vertical over similar size. One to definitely keep an eye on over the next few years.
