O’Neil is a talented off guard who broke out for East last year and is expected to take on an even larger role. He showed on Saturday his shotmaking skills, his ability to connect on threes, space the floor and help the offense. His shot IQ has improved, he’s more confident, more comfortable in the offense and should be one of Long Island stars this season.

David O’Neil David O’Neil 6'3" | CG/PG Half Hollow Hills East | 2027 NY was one of the best pure shooters in the gym from a results standpoint. He was hitting almost every open shot that I saw him take and displayed a quick release which made him hard to stop when he got the basketball. He even showed off a solid fadeaway middy when he decided to create off the bounce.
