He showed on Saturday his shotmaking skills, his ability to connect on threes, space the floor and help the offense. His shot IQ has improved, he's more confident, more comfortable in the offense and should be one of Long Island stars this season.

Vera is a star for VSC and also their glue guy at the same time. He can guard any position, he has an elite motor, a huge heart and a ton of passion for the game. The Senior won't be outworked, he's a menace on the boards, protects the paint and displays tremendous leadership qualities. Would go to war alongside Mr. Vera any day.

The young prospect has some serious hype around him and this weekend he proved why. He's already got nice size for a guard, he's great in transition, has nice mid range game and is a handful to stop when driving to the basket. His physicality and strong body will have him ready for the varsity level to make an immediate impact. Woodward has big potential, he could be a problem in the league day one and if he stays with Mary's could be one of the future faces of the CHSAA on Long Island.

McMorris is a tough guard who likes to attack the basket and finish theough contact. He's athletic, strong, can play both guard positions and loves to compete. West will rely him a lot in 2026-2027 and if he can continue to play like he did on Saturday they should be fine.

Collura is a super solid guard that can score, make plays for others and help you win games. He's smart, plays under control, makes the extra pass and will dive on the floor. His minutes and role will fluctuate with all the talent they have in the back court but Collura will be instrumental in the Flyers making a deep run.

Saint Jean continues to lead Baldwin, score a ton points and looks like the heavy favorite for Long Island Player of the Year. He's great from three, improved as a creator, rebounds and has a lot of talent defensively. His motor, energy, attitude and ability to be coached are impressive. MSJ could be a really valuable prospect at the next level.

Menzies is new to SJP and will immediately compete for the starting point guard spot. He's smooth, quick, shifty and a tough cover. His vision, leadership, on ball defense and control of the offense will be crucial for the returning champs. This new add should be a big hit and should stabilize their back court this season.
