Holt gives us a name worth keeping on the radar because he already has a skill that can translate as he can knock down shots. He stays ready, doesn’t hesitate when the ball finds him and has the shooting ability to make defenses pay for leaving him open. What makes his long term outlook interesting is the chance to build around that foundation. He also competes on the glass and isn’t afraid to get involved in the physical side of the game. If he continues developing his ability to attack, create and make plays off the catch, there’s room for Holt to turn a simple role into something much bigger

Holt showed confidence as a spot up shooter and did a nice job staying ready to knock down open looks. He also brought value on the glass by rebounding his position and competing for extra possessions. That combination gave him a clear role on the floor. Moving forward we want to see him continue expanding beyond the catch and shoot game by attacking closeouts, making plays off the bounce and finding ways to stay involved when the ball isn’t coming his way
