The first of two Palmetto Pride 2028s to be added to the Prep Hoops SC Rankings is Green. Davey had a decent sophomore season at South Florence, tallying 6.0 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 1.0 blocks per game in 20 appearances. You will see the flashes every now and again with Green, put it’s about putting it all together for him to be a true, dominant big man.

Speaking of new names with intriguing physical tools, Davey fits that mold with Palmetto Pride 16U. He was a really solid piece off their bench in a matchup with HYAA Elite, collecting 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 block in the win. He had a pair of offensive put-backs mixed in with a dunk off a strong rim run, and he overall didn’t show too many weaknesses when he was on the floor. I’m interested to see how Green progresses this spring and what he looks like when he returns to South Florence in June.
