Morris continues to dazzle every time I see him play this time he showed he can really fill it up as a scorer. He converted shots from deep and got to different spots off the bounce. He came up with steals on defense and continuously made others look good with his ability to run the one.

Morris had his fingerprints all over the game for AOA. He was constantly making plays for others. His floor game is immaculate and really thinks the game at a high level. He was able to show that he could score quick having eight points in the 2nd half. Morris used his quickness to frequently turn defense to offense gathering steals with ease. No moment is too big for Morris.

The lone committed prospect on this team, Morris is a high feel point guard who can really pass the basketball. Coming all the way from the west coast to Ohio, Morris impressed me with his ability to push the tempo and get his teammates to run on the fast break with him. Texas A&M Corpus Christi got themselves a setup man in the class of 2025.

Darrell finished with 17 points and a few assists/steals in West Ranch’s win over Orem (UT), 67-49. Morris, in typical fashion, was flying around making plays on both ends of the court on Monday and created a plethora of opportunities for himself and others with his unpredictable quick movement, court awareness, and unselfishness.

Morris wins the award for fasters player with the basketball in his hands. He was an absolute blur, changing ends of the court in seconds. Needless to say, the PG was able to put immediate pressure on the defense, breaking down defenders and either finishing or dishing to open teammates.

One of the best guards of his class. The speedy Morris is an elite guard and playmaker. He looks for his teammates and gets everyone involved. He does a great job of getting opportunities for his squad and puts them in position to score. Morris is also a very good shooter as shown against Canyon where he repeatedly hit 3s and took advantage of his opponent going under the screen. Morris has a very high motor and does a great job of reading offenses. Against Balboa, he had 3 steals that all led to layups. Morris is the full package and is one of the top 2024 PGs in California.

Speed is an understatement when watching Morris. The West Ranch transfer was one of the top performers in both the drills and scrimmage facets of the camp. Morris has elite speed and a creative handle with the rock. His ball handling combined with his quick burst allow him to breakdown his defenders on the way to the rack where despite his size, he has the craftiness to finish with a mix of floaters, scoops, and up and unders. Darrell shows a nice smooth jumper as he hit from long range consistently. Morris was also huge on defense as he does a great job of moving his feet and he also pickpocketed several players who tried to take him in the post. I expect Morris and West Ranch to have a huge year.
