Darius McGee is back in the rankings after not playing this past high school season over at Desert Pines. He is now at Civica Academy and has already become a rotational player for them. Giving them some extra scoring punch on offense with his attacking and 3-point shooting. McGee also gets after it on the defensive end, and is capable of making deflections or coming with steals thanks to his active hands.

Darius McGee was at Desert Pines the last couple of years. However he has made the move to Civica Academy. He’s a very quick guard who can get downhill. While also adding a 3-point shot somewhat recently. He can get after it the defensive end as well. And has the ability to help cause turnovers.

He is also learning to get it done in other ways though and I watched him drain two triples in LV United’s game on Sunday. If he can continue to fill it up from the outside and make the right plays, he may be a stock riser soon.

Daris Mcgee plays with a lot of energy. In the times that I have watched him play, he does a great job pressuring the guy that he is matched up with. You also notice that it isn’t easy to get around him. On offense, he is a creative finisher and can make tough lay-ups. His other top offensive skill is 3-point shooting.
