Sykes provides length at the wing spot bringing athleticism, bounce, and a consistent 2 way motor. He can space the floor for spot up 3s or attack off driving angles. His frame presents intriguing measurables when in the paint. Sykes uses his arm span to his advantage on the glass and crashes for rebounds consistently with IQ. He will impact possessions running the floor with purpose. Defensively his length translates inside and out against bigger or smaller bodies challenging shots on the perimeter or creating difficulty vs more size. Continued to like the upside for the Normal Community wing heading into senior year.

Lengthy wing that projects as a textbook 2 or 3 at next level. Tallied him for at least four 3’s in early morning game on Saturday in an efficient manner. Can go off the bounce or sprint off screens to catch and shoot. Converted on a couple easy looks around the rim utilizing length to advantage. Has bounce on the glass to rebound it high. Continued to pour on team’s run in first half with a steal in the passing lane to head other way for a 1 handed tomahawk slam. Good rhythm throughout.
