One of the biggest players in Ohio’s 2025 class, Showes has height and size you simply can’t teach. I was impressed that his best game early in the season came against Jermiel Atkins Jermiel Atkins 6'8" | C Trotwood Madison | 2025 State OH , another one of the biggest players in Ohio. Where Showes has struggled has been against teams with undersized bigs in the paint and also staying out of foul trouble early in the season. A prospect to be patient with, it’s obvious when you watch Showes that the physical tools are there and he’s improved since I first started watching him as a Junior. I’ll be curious if Showes goes to a college where he can play as a freshman or ends up doing a post-grad or redshirt year.
