McGowan, a senior out of Bishop Guertin, was named NHBCO D-I 1st Team All-State after leading D-I in scoring at 23.3 points per game this season. McGowan proved to be one of the best scorers in the state this winter, getting it done at all three levels with a combination of skill, strength, and toughness. He played through contact with a strong frame, showed the ability to finish over or through size at the rim, and never backed down from the big moment. His ability to make tough shots in isolation situations stood out and he continuously and consistently knocked down threes in catch and shoot situations.
