How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As a SG, my gameplay style is characterized by my sharp shooting from the perimeter, quick decision-making, and strong off-ball movement. I focus on creating my own shot, driving to the basket when necessary, and being a reliable option in transition. Defense would also be key, utilizing agility to pressure opposing guards and create turnovers. I also balance this with passing to open players.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I embrace honesty, hard work, and being a good friend is grounded and trustworthy. I prioritize integrity and have a good work ethic in school and with my family and teammates (my second family). I also enjoy joking around.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am involved in Bray's Basketball Facility, I'm in the National Honors Society of High School Scholars, and I've won chess awards.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I focus on academics while delivering on the court. In three seasons I accumulated, as a starter, over 20 tournament first place gold metals and was awarded team overall Sharpshooter 2023, Best Scorer 2022 and Sportsmanship 2021. I also embraced the National Honors Society of High School Scholars. My main goal, well outside of being there for family (including my teammates), is to excel in school.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I lost 4 important family members to cancer and other illnesses all in only a few years. I've learned how to cope with difficult emotions and still get through important milestones in school and basketball.
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm currently looking at schools with good basketball programs and reputable science departments and a campus that is consolidated with close access to ammenities.
