-Unfortunately don’t have his other stats in this game, but I can say he definitely had a double-double to go along with 24 points and a few blocks in a big-time matchup in the paint with St. Mary’s DiBitetto. Toms scored a nice runner with the right off glass through the contact for the And1 (made the ensuing FT), rolled hard to the rim after setting solid screens to create that extra step of space to finish past the help defender or his trailing defensive matchup, and really fought hard to push the opposing front line off the block. His late face-up J off glass from the elbow cut the lead to 2 under a minute left after he also made the ensuing FT in a close loss. Love the motor that he plays with at both ends and his touch in the paint has improved quite a bit since our last viewing.
