-Efficient (10/13 FGA) performance from the field in a comfortable win in the MAC title game for the Quakers, their third straight title game victory. Williams hit C+S looks at the rim, used ball fakes well to get past his matchup and to the rim, while also scoring on post-ups on the block. He is methodical but decisive with his movements, mapping out where he wants to go and what he wants to do with the basketball well before he catches the rock. Defensively, he was rarely out of position and forced several double-clutch shots at the basket. Georgetown is getting a good one
Colin Toms

-Toms was aggressive but always played within himself, very efficient with his dribble due to some advanced footwork in the paint. Toms embraced the contact but didn’t wait for it, moving well to open gaps in the defense and scoring immediately before the defense could react. His rebounding (5 offensive) took pressure off of the guards to move a bit more freely on the perimeter, not having to crash the glass and instead allowing them to find open pockets in the defense for kickouts. Despite his physical play style, displayed a soft touch in the paint

-Marable has a throwback game, despite some ball skills shown throughout the game– he is trying to carve out space around the basket and score from the low block. Sidwell is a disciplined team with players 1-5 trained to find opportunities to sneak into the paint and grab an offensive rebound to extend a possession. His defensive rebounding (9 boards on that end) helped Maret close out positive defensive possessions and get them going in transition. One of the best available prospects in 2024 because he is a productive big now, but has the physical tools and athleticism to add much more to his game.
19p 5r 2s 3b vs Severna Park
-Crimaudo was dominant in the 2H of the Anne Arundel County title game against Severna Park, scoring 12 of his 13 points in the final two periods to seal the victory for his South River team. Crimaudo can bang for rebounds and easy bucket in the paint but also has an advanced floor game that makes him an intriguing wing/forward hybrid prospect. The footwork on his step-throughs, euro steps, and reverse pivots allowed him to create more high-percentage looks for his team on a roster that features a ton of shooters that do their damage from beyond the arc.
Highlights

-Abell struggled from the floor in this one but did a little bit of everything for Severna Park. He forced tough shots, got Severna Park going in transition, finished well around the basket and got to 50/50 balls that extended possessions that kept the game close in the 1H
