About Ciyah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m that girl on the court — point guard out of Illinois and Indiana, known for my handles like Kyrie, my mindset like Ant, and my court vision like CP3. locked in every time I lace up. All about growth, whether that’s dropping dimes, locking in on defense, or making the big play when it counts. I’m a natural leader, but I know how to bring my team with me — hype them up, hold them down- move as 1

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the court, I’m chill and easy to vibe with, but once the game starts, it’s all business. My drive comes from loving the grind and knowing I can always be better. I don’t just hoop either — I’m an all-around athlete. I run track, play football and flag football, and I’ve got a gymnastics background too, which keeps me explosive, agile, and locked in on body control.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve been involved in leadership programs at school, and I’ve received a couple of academic awards for keeping my grades right. I know it’s student-athlete for a reason — books come before buckets.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve built real leadership on and off the court — leading by example, staying humble, but speaking up when it matters. Teamwork is second nature for me, especially playing multiple sports. I’ve learned to adapt, connect with different teammates, and still stand out no matter the sport. I’m also big on community — I’ve helped with youth camps and volunteer work in my area.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Being a multi-sport athlete, balancing everything hasn’t always been easy. I’ve had to stay mentally strong, and prove myself in rooms where I was underestimated. But I never fold — pressure makes diamonds, and I’m still rising.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that sees me — not just the athlete, but the leader and the competitor. Somewhere with a strong athletic program that feels like family, where I can level up on and off the court. I want coaches who will push me, teammates who go hard, and a program that values work ethic, culture, and heart.
