Chol flashes his upside in spurts. He had six points in the second quarter, scoring on a lefty drive, a floater and a left-handed finish in the post. In the fourth quarter he broke off a eurostep in transition for a smooth finish. Kiir tallied 9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. Keeping his motor high and impacting the game on both ends will allow him to reach his ceiling. Kiir has intriguing tools and sneaky skill with the ball.

The wiry 6-foot-8 wing couldn’t be kept off the glass in a 67-62 win over Union County. Chol had 8 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block against the smaller Panthers. Kiir showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and finish with authority. Adding to his perimeter game will help with his overall development. Chol has plenty of upside heading into Year 3.

Kiir made his debut at Calvary Day this past season. He is an interesting prospect to say the least. Standing close to 6-foot-9, Chol isn’t a post, but more of a wing. He’s extremely fluid on the perimeter, a smooth athlete that has combo-forward capabilities. Kiir is a springy leaper. All the tools are there for Chol to become a serious prospect. He averaged 4.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.1 block as a freshman. Locating his offensive identity over the next three years will help determine his ceiling.
