Rhoades has really elevated his game over the last several months, and his continued development has been evident with each viewing. He does an excellent job changing gears on the attack, exploding downhill once he sees an opening and putting constant pressure on the rim. Rhoades also fills the lane well in transition, where his speed and aggressiveness routinely lead to easy scoring opportunities. Beyond his own scoring, he showed impressive vision by finding his more athletic teammates with well-timed lob passes that created highlight-reel finishes. With the strides he has made this summer, Rhoades is a prospect who should see a significant upward trajectory in our next Pennsylvania rankings release.

Chase has the potential to be a very good lead guard for State College in the coming future. He has a very tight handle and is adept at creating separation with a quick crossover. His change of pace is impressive, both in the half-court and transition. He’s shown to be great driving left and should improve attacking the other side. Court vision and basketball IQ may be his greatest attributes thus far. If he develops a consistent jumper, Rhoades will be one of the best guards in the Mid-Penn.
