About Chase

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im a fierce competitor with a relentless motor. I hustle, play tough defense, and can score at all three levels. The midrange game is my bread and butter, but I also love attacking the basket, getting paint touches, and creating for my teammates. I have a variety of finishes and thrive in the pick-and-roll, both as a scorer and facilitator. Unselfish and aggressive, I impact the game on both ends.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a team captain, I lead by example and keep my teammates motivated. I’m competitive, communicate well, and thrive in high-pressure moments. I love to win and hate losing more than anything. My mentality reflects my goal of reaching the NBA and becoming the best ever. I’m confident, hardworking, and believe my dedication will pay off because I put in the work every day.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong communication skills with my teammates and coaches, learning how to effectively get my team locked in and focused. I’ve also adapted to playing with different teams and adjusting to various play styles while still finding ways to be successful. My leadership has grown as I’ve learned to motivate those around me and ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges was tearing my hamstring during a playoff game my freshman year. Despite the injury, I pushed through most of my AAU season, which took a toll on me both mentally and physically. The experience forced me to adjust my approach, and in the process, I not only learned how to recover but also how to run properly. It was a tough setback, but it ultimately made me stronger.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will push me to reach my goals and give me the opportunity to compete at a high level. I want a program with a winning mentality that challenges me while also having a coaching staff that holds me accountable and helps me grow as a player and person.

-One of my favorite point guards to watch in the area, Brown constantly applies pressure to his matchup by attacking the rim with a reckless abandon. Brown’s probing drives to the rim rarely result in turnovers as he is the straw that stirs the drink for a gritty AACS group that has pulled off some upset wins this season. Love his POA defense out on an island, with Brown serving as a pitbull that is really difficult to screen and even more difficult to get past on drives to the basket.
