Charlie played JV last year and was one of the better players in the entire conference at that level and also got into Varsity games at times and showed that he could be counted on and contribute. He had no problems adjusting to the speed but needed to get the physicality under control and when we saw him in the Spring, he seemed as if he was not only adjusting, but looked noticeably stronger, quicker and as if the game were slowing down for him. Charlie has solid size and rebounds well. He also can step out and shoot the 3-ball, plays within the flow of the offense and offers versatility on both ends of the court. Heritage will need him to be a difference-maker this year He’ll have to stay engaged, be a defensive anchor at times and his goal should be to finish as one of the teams top rebounders. This should be a solid year for him that he will be a full on varsity player and contribute on a night to night basis.
