Chace Hermanson Chace Hermanson 6'3" | SG/SF O'Gorman | 2027 is a very efficient player for the Knights and impacts winning on both ends of the floor. Hermanson truly has to guard every position on the floor at some time in the game. He is the most efficient OG player on the offensive end. Chace averages 9 ppg and 6 rpg on a very balanced team. Hermanson does so much dirty work that doesn’t show up in the stat line, it must be hard to take him off the floor.

Known to many as the quarterback of the Knights’ football team, Chace brings leadership, poise, and a competitive mindset to the basketball court as well. Last season, he started out playing mainly with the JV and sophomore squads but steadily earned his way onto the varsity roster. A solid and consistent performer, Chace isn’t flashy, but he does the little things that help teams win — from smart defense to timely plays and setting the tone for his teammates. With his work ethic and leadership, he could easily step into the starting rotation this year and serve as a true glue guy for the Knights, proving that role players who do the little things often have the biggest impact.

Chase Hermanson looks poised for a breakout season with OG. This Knight is a talented multi-sport athlete and the team’s quarterback on the football field. Hermanson brings leadership, toughness, and competitiveness to the hardwood. He had a productive summer, showing steady growth and an ability to impact winning in a variety of ways. Chase does all the little things — defends, communicates, and plays with a high motor — making him a perfect complement to O’Gorman’s strong senior backcourt of Camden Cisse, Mason Clark Mason Clark 6'0" | PG O'Gorman | 2026 State SD , and Braylen Yellowbird. Expect Hermanson to play a major role in what could be a big year for the Knights.

Hermanson’s ranking needs to be adjusted slightly and for the better. He looked quick and athletic on film defending and shutting down opponents with tight coverage as they pass half court. Athletic with a solid frame for a Sophomore.
