Expert Analysis
Ross Van De Griek | Prep Hoops Scout
The 6-7 junior forward reached the 1,000-point milestone back on January 18 in a win over Auburndale. Mosley is a long and athletic wing who rebounds exceptionally well from both ends of the floor as well as improved footwork. Offensively, Mosley has improved his game where he can be a true three-level scoring threat where he can score off the bounce as well as the catch. Defensively, Mosley is a strong rebounder where he battles on the glass against bigger players and can run the floor exceptionally well. I fully expect Mosley to have a big recruitment period as the spring and summer sessions draw near.

The 6-7 junior power forward is an absolute beast when it comes to scoring from the interior. On the offensive end, Mosley can score whether it’s on post-ups or dribble drives when he has the size advantage. On the defensive end, Mosley does a great job at challenging shots but his shot-blocking abilities haven’t gained much consistency yet. He still can impact the game with his rim protection and his willing to kick the ball ahead in transition off of missed shots.

Mosley had the dunk of the night as he rose from the baseline for a head-topping slam that had the home crowd on their feet. He’s a lot bigger in person and someone I can see thriving at the forward position for the Blue Devils this season. Mosley has a decent mid-range game but his defensive presence and ability to run the floor was most impressive Tuesday night.

*High School: Winter HavenrnMosley made the move over the play with a talented Winter Haven Blue Devils squad for his junior season which is primed to make another state championship push. Replacing some lost production with kids like Mosley who is a versatile scoring threat that provides solid outside shooting will be crucial throughout the season. Came away was impressed with his explosiveness and willingness to defend and rebound during an offseason tournament. Important year for his overall development at the Prep level as he possesses a college-ready frame at 6-6, 208-pounds with time to add to his bag of skills.

The 6-6 forward shows a lot of toughness and is unafraid to finish above the rim against bigger defenders. Mosley can finish above the rim as a lob threat or off put-backs as he brings good length and superb athleticism. On the defensive end, Mosley is very versatile where he can guard out on the perimeter and on the interior. Mosley’s recruitment is expected to continue to grow as he currently holds offers from Jacksonville and Stetson University.
