Boyd impressed with his contagious motor which is always on the moment he steps onto the floor. He can get a bucket in the blink of an eye when navigating to the rim. He excels as a rim runner and or while filling the lane in transition. He made a fair amount of trips to the foul line. His ability to be a versatile defender and switches 1-5. He is on pace to be one of the best forwards in the WPIAL this upcoming season.

Boyd is an active forward who has no qualms about doing the dirty work. Boyd shows he can guard different positions and is light on his feet. He is in good spots on the floor to gather steals. His touch around the basket is one of his best skills and takes a lot of high percentage shots. His offensive game should expand as he progresses as a prospect. Looking forward to tracking his development.
