Love is a strong, physical guard who imposed his will against smaller defenders routinely on Saturday afternoon. He’s able to bully his way to the rim against smaller defenders, and has the quick burst first step to blow by slower-footed defenders. He’s an explosive athlete who finishes above the rim with authority, a good on-ball defender who moves his feet well, and he’s strong in the mid-range. As he continues to develop his jumper, he could be a sleeper prospect to watch in Illinois’ 2027 class.

Caught him in the last game of the day. Strong and well built frame at the guard spot for the next level. Can play at the 1 or 2 locations depending what you need. With a quick first step can create space or jet by the defender. Had a couple tough takes to the rim in traffic with strong finishing ability. Likes to get out and run the floor to speed up the game. Uses athleticism to his advantage and has really solid bounce at the cup.
