Expert Analysis
Spencer Pulliam | Prep Hoops Scout
Cash Barrett played a major role in Lakeshow Hoops opening the Jr. 3SSB National Championships with a 2-0 start, scoring 16 points in one game and 13 in another. The Nevada native has established himself as one of the more productive scoring guards in the state thanks to his polished offensive game. Barrett is a strong shooter who can capitalize on catch-and-shoot opportunities, but he also proved capable of creating his own shot. Beyond the scoring, his feel for the game stood out on both ends of the floor. He consistently made the right reads, played with good pace, and showed the type of basketball IQ that helps impact winning. As his development continues, Barrett is trending in the right direction as a guard who can contribute in a variety of ways.
