The 6-1 point guard understands how to dictate tempo, values possessions, and consistently puts teammates in position to succeed. He changes speeds well with the basketball, creating driving lanes before finishing confidently or pulling up from midrange when defenders retreat. His toughness and leadership show up on both ends of the floor, where he competes defensively and embraces difficult assignments. Oden’s combination of poise and decision-making continues making him an intriguing lead guard prospect.

Oden is the type of lead guard every coach enjoys having. The 6-1 floor general controls tempo, values possessions, and knows when to facilitate versus attack. His burst with the ball creates driving lanes, and he finishes confidently while also making defenses pay with pull-up jumpers. He competes defensively and brings the toughness needed to lead a team.

Oden was outstanding in Saturday’s win over Pine Ridge, finishing with 23 points and consistently putting pressure on the defense.
