Hill was an aggressive, physical guard despite a size disadvantage. He attacked downhill throughout the game and wasn’t afraid of contact. He scored in a variety of ways, including strong finishes at the rim, a big three in the fourth quarter, and drawing fouls in transition late in overtime. Defensively he showed quick feet and forced the ball out of his guy’s hands constantly. While he missed some opportunities at the free-throw line and had a crucial shot blocked late, his confidence never wavered. He played with an edge and contributed on both ends in high-leverage moments.
