Cannon is another prospect who has blossomed in his increased role this season. He has led Riverdale to a lot of wins this season with his consistency. Cannon battles hard down low and welcomes the physicality needed to be a force inside each night. Although he likes to get his points in the paint, Greene can hit from the perimeter both inside and outside. Turned himself into a true 3-level scorer this year. Another note from Cannon’s offensive improvement is his ability to get to the free throw line and knock them down consistently. His motor never stops. Cannon attacks the paint relentlessly all game, drawing different matchups over the course of the game due to foul trouble or for relief. Collects offensive rebounds from constant activity and good positioning. Doesn’t allow the defense to stop him from where he wants to go. Greene has certainly had a stock-rising few months.
