You’ll immediately be impressed by the athletic and physical tools of this freshman prospect when watching him play. Thoman has the look of a college-level tight end and he uses those physical traits to dominate on the hardwood. The Shelbyville High School prospect was very impressive on Sunday as a driver, slasher, and interior finisher. At 6’3″ he was able to overpower a lot of his defenders and get to the spots he wanted around the basket. We wouldn’t be surprised to see him as a contributor for Shelbyville sooner rather than later. He was definitely among the most impressive prospects at the Freshman Showcase.
