Crutcher’s size and playmaking ability make him a particularly unique name in the class, getting more confident creating passing lanes off of aggressive opposing help. Resurrection Christian brings back a talented backcourt, set to succeed to an even greater degree in the 3A Patriot League. Contributing 11.2 points and 3.8 assists per game last season, there is no doubt they will rely on him even more to score, following the departure of star big man Jacob Barker.

Crutcher takes what the defense provides, rarely forcing attempts within the halfcourt. Recently securing a state title, the guard was productive down the stretch, going for a season high 9 for 10 from the free throw line against Kent Denver. Crutcher’s handle continues to improve, particularly noticeable when attacking the lane through tight spaces.

Crutcher was a player that was able to capitalize on the opportunities he was given by good ball movement and having a good flow in the offense. He is able to space out the floor, being able to be a knock down shooter behind the arc and has a quick release making it difficult to close out on him. He can get hot quickly and is dangerous if he is left open. He was hustling on the defensive end and had his hand in the passing lanes throughout the day.
