About Bryson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A versatile, high-IQ player with strong ball-handling and court vision, I excel at creating opportunities for myself and my teammates. I am effective around the basket, finish through contact, and rebound well on both ends of the floor. I am a reliable shooter and committed defender, who plays with intensity, toughness, and a true team-first mindset.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mentally tough and highly motivated, approaching the game with confidence, composure, and a constant desire to grow. I thrive under pressure, remain locked in during critical moments, and embraces feedback to elevate my performance.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I compete in AAU club basketball on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, where I’ve developed a high level of competitiveness, discipline, and adaptability while playing against top national talent. This experience has strengthened my leadership, teamwork, and ability to perform in high-pressure environments.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through working at my mom’s behavioral health center supporting children with special needs, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. This experience taught me patience, empathy, responsibility, and how to remain calm and focused in challenging situations. Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced is growing up in a single-parent household, where my mom worked full time to support my brother and me. Watching her dedication and work ethic taught me responsibility, resilience, and the importance of perseverance. This experience motivated me to stay disciplined, value hard work, and take ownership of my goals both academically and athletically.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can compete as a Division I student-athlete while being held to a high academic standard. I want an environment that values discipline, accountability, and personal growth both on and off the court. Academics are a priority for me, and I’m interested in a program that supports strong classroom performance while encouraging involvement in community service.

North Central has yet another young, talented kid coming in with some length who could be the next guy up over there. He’s shown some real flashes for a kid his size, shooting, handling the ball, and even passing the rock, which makes him a pretty intriguing prospect. It may take some time for him to start making an impact but the skills he’s shown suggest he could end up being a wing/stretch four depending on how his physical tools come along.
