As he grows you will likely see Yoder in our prospect rankings. However, he is still an early stock-riser after an excellent freshman season that saw him make a significant impact at the varsity level for the Class 2A State Runner-Up. Yoder is highly skilled and an excellent shooter from beyond the arc. It will be fun to track his progression over the next few years.
There always seems to be a Yoder that comes up the ranks and the one in the in-state 2029 class to watch in June is point guard Bryce YoderBryceYoder

. While being a shorter lead guard, Yoder is tough defensively and always shows some nice IQ on the ball. He is the type of player that can run the show for any team he is on and he expected to be in that type of role for Westview starting in June. Don’t let his size fool you, he can produce.
Yoder runs the show at point for a humbled and well coached squad. Has plenty of time to add size to frame but his feel and iq for the game are already at a matured level. A settled and even keeled demeanor with plus ball handling skills. He lets his game do the talking. Really can glue on the ball defensively with anticipation and quick hands. Tallied at least 3 pick pockets to go the other way in team’s early morning game on Saturday. Like the upside here to continue to affect game in multiple facets and be a well polished floor general as career progresses.
In all reality, you could put any of the Yoder boys here, but the one we are going with is freshman guard Bryce YoderBryceYoder

. He finished with 8 points and even though he was smallest player on the floor, he stepped up in such a big way almost helping his team win the 2A State Championship. He was great defensively and used some nice IQ to make plays off the ball. He is only getting started with his high school career.

We first got eyes on Yoder when he received varsity action for Westview during the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June. He might just be about 5’4″-5″5, but he is as skilled of a guard as you will come by. Yoder is an excellent passer that knifes his way through the defense with ease, draws the attention of multiple defenders, and can make any play that is given to him. Obviously a big part of his long-term prospectus will come down to physical growth, but the skill set is there for him to be a REALLY good player. He will get legitimate varsity action for a very good Class 2A team this winter.

This smaller incoming freshman guard caught our attention with his fearlessness and ball skill at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in July. Westview will be a Top 10 team in Class 2A this season, but Yoder is going to play a role as a freshman from day one. He will end up being a prospect to watch in this incoming Class of 2029.
