, Ohmen kept Geiger away from the basket for most of the game, cutting off one of the Blackhawks’ best scoring options. He limited Geiger to just 11 points and one three-point field goal. His defense earned praise from De Forest coach Eric Stewart and was a big part of the Norskies’ triumph.

Ohman finished with 19 points for DeForest and had a big-time scoring spree late in the game to help the Norkies cut a 12-point deficit to just two at 52-50 with two minutes left. His ability to score off cuts to the rim, drives to the basket and from outside the arc helped a DeForest offense that struggled at times. A combination guard who defends well on the perimeter in addition to his scoring ability, Ohmen is a two-year varsity performer for coach Eric Stewart. He is averaging 14.2 points, 4.3 rpg and 1.9 apg.
