About Brody

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a combo guard with a high IQ. My outside jump shot is consistent, I disrupt offenses with my scrappy defense and make the right plays to make my teammates better. In transition is where I flourish with low turnovers and on point passing. I would compare my style to a Steve Nash, if the coach needs me to score or get my teammates involved, I can do what is asked.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a do whatever it takes to win. Whether my team needs me to score, make hustle plays on defense, rebound, or pass the ball to get my teammates more involved, I will do whatever the coaches ask of me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I only play basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The skills and qualities I have developed have been through leadership in sports. I have learned about being entrepreneurial, mowing lawns in the summer, which taught time management between basketball trainings.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a Freshman I learned to be patient with my goals. I started on the Freshman team at Park High School Cottage Grove. I moved up to JV as a Freshaman for the final eight games of the season, starting the final seven games on JV.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that will give me an opportunity to show my skills and win at the collegiate level.
