Cincinnati Hughes showed some solid effort with a young squad that liked to push the pace. Ross Jr is a stockier lefty wing guard who has a high arcing jumper and uses his frame to finish through contact. I also thought Ross passed the ball better than what I’ve seen in the past, playing off two feet and setting up teammates for layups. As a freshman Ross found his stride in the second half of the season, averaging about 5 PPG and shooting 38.5% from 3-point range.
