The lengthy wing led his team in scoring with a healthy 13.5 point per game average, and finished with 20 points or more on 5 occasions. His season high 24 points came in a win over Monona Grove. The 6′ 5” wing pulled down 4.5 rebounds per game. Dempsey finished second team all conference as a junior and caps his senior year with first team all conference honors.
