About Brendan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an all around player and willing to fall into any role necessary. I'm a solid scorer, shooter, ball handler, and defender. I also am a leader on the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am competitive but not demonstrative. I enjoy the sport of basketball and know I need to get better in all areas, but feel I have a high ceiling. I get along with just about everyone and have been elected captain in several sports. I also play football (quarterback) and track and field. My oldest brother is all all conference athlete in multiple sports and I've learned a lot from him.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have volunteered in other youth sports and am looking to have my first job this summer (summer 2026). I also am applying for Teen Leadership Green Bay and was in several clubs in middle school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am well liked and often try to get along with all sorts of personalities. I am willing to do whatever necessary to help the team, and have learned a lot about leadership my freshman year at Preble.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, we often struggled in middle school youth basketball, and I was on the B team. I've worked my way into the starting lineup for a large part of the year, despite my high school team being one of the most talented in the area. We also had a first year coach, so we all had to learn to be a team together.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm not sure yet, but likely a state school with high academic standards, a good business school, and a reasonable student to teacher ratio.
