-The BCL POY went down swinging in a tough matchup against MSJ, hitting perimeter shots throughout the contest despite seeing a second defender as well as MSJ’s best primary defender’s throughout the night. Johnson gets to his midrange pull-up so smoothly but has developed his upper body well enough to finish through the contact when taking advantage of hard closeouts. I expect him to hit the ground running as a shot-making combo guard for Merrimack this fall.
