It’s easy to see why Olivet is excited to see Wine coming next season. He has college ready strength, and mark my words, he will get stronger. Wine is tough and physical and thrives with contact. He’s a versatile offensive player that can battle for looks from under the rim, but can also step out from behind the arc and be a threat with his jump shot. Wine can defend on the perimeter as well as in the paint.

Wine is tough, both mentally and physically. This allowed him to go at the games with everything he had. Wine left it all out on the floor in every game that he played in.

Wine definitely turned heads at the Top 250. It started with his power, strength, and relentlessness under the rim. He battled for position and boxed out, keeping himself between his man and the rim. Wine also showed versatility with his willingness and ability to bring the ball up the floor and his mid range jumper.

Wine has a lot to offer as a player and prospect and I’m sure that some next level coaches would be very interested in seeing him in Grand Rapids. Wine is a tough minded athlete that can score in the paint and from the perimeter.
