Brown was an exciting surprise at this event, one of the better backcourt defenders, hands down. A dependable point of attack defender, his athleticism and discipline one on one kept opponents out of the paint. On the rare occasions he was beaten downhill, Brown often recovered for eye opening blocks at the rim. Offensively, he showed plenty of bounce, getting up for two-handed finishes with ease within transition. He showed value spacing the floor, knocking down a few threes off the catch.
